GOLD MOUNTAIN SNOW RUN

Directions: Take the Ca-30 W Toward Ca 330/Highland. Then Merge onto the 330 N Toward MTN Resorts. Follow it all the way up until you see the 76 Station on the Left in Running Springs Ca.
Lodging: There are many Local Resorts and Motels. Please Check Bigbearinfo.com or Motel 6.com for Information.
Meeting Time: 8:00AM at the 76 Station in Running Springs Ca.
Approx Duration of the Run: All Day. If there is No Snow on the Day We run the trail. We can always Run John Bull or Holcomb Creek if We Finish Gold Mountain Early.
Degree of Difficulty: All Depends if there is Snow. If there is Snow, Attachment Points are needed. A tow Strap is required. A Winch will also be Helpful but not needed and at least One Locker. If no Snow, Rocker Panel Protection, skid Plates and a Locker or Limited Slip in the Rear would be Sufficient.
Special Equipment Needed: Warm Clothes, Extra Food and Water. If you have a Shovel Please Bring it. Bring Snow boots or an Extra Pair of Shoes to Change into. Please be prepared for Winter Conditions. If you have Chains Please bring them, we might need them.
Terrain: Steady Climbs, Rock Crawling if we take the Difficult Section of the Trail. We will get to the top of the Trail and then a downhill descent to the end of the Trail. Hopefully we get Lucky and it snows about a Foot of Snow right before we do the Trail!
