Run:
For this Saturday's (Sept 11th) Adopt-A-Trail, meet at the Northshore OHV
Volunteer Facility in Lake Arrowhead at 8:00.
Meeting Location:
We will meet Greg Hoffman at the Northshore facility at 8:00am (NOT
the 76 station).
Lake Arrowhead Northshore facility/campground is across Hospital
Road from Arrowhead Hospital. If the gate is locked, wait for Greg
or walk around the OHV building (which looks like a fire station).
Directions:
Take the hwy past crestline to the Lake Arrowhead turnoff turn left
toward Arrowhead and take the hwy to the right, which takes you on
the East side of the lake.
Shortly you will cross the earthen dam, start watching around the
curve for Hospital Road.
Bear to your right on Hospital Road and go about a block or two.
Instead of turning right into the hospital parking lot, turn left
onto the one lane road that goes into Northshore.
Just after passing the gate, before entering the campground sites
themselves, make a right turn onto a smaller "employees only"
road.
Follow this around the building to what looks like the doors to a
fire station (it was built from the plans for a fire station).
