Onyx Summit - The Ghostly Encounter - 11/00

By Jesse May

Mine machine was a ghost for this run, so I had to hitch a ride with the Delp’s.  After the Delp’s picked me up from the Thomas’s, we were headed for the beginning of Onix summit trail.  We arrived at the trail head at the designated time.  The waited for the group to arrive, but all we got was ghosts.  So 30 min later we tried to go find the live bodies,  We headed for the original meeting location, but again all we found was ghosts.  As we were traveling, to find the bodies, a ghost made sure the Delp’s radio stopped working.  We did decided to head down the trail still trying to find the live bodies.  As we got closer to the turn off for the Onix Summit trail, we started to hear voices, but they could not hear us!

We finally got close enough and we could see live bodies, I was glad it wasn’t the ghost thing.  Once we were part of the group,  there was this skeleton that was hovering over the vehicles and surprised several of the live bodies.  Then the abandoned car had some ghostly characters, making awful noises and trying to scare the live bodies.  Later that evening, I was even able to surprise a few more bodies.

The evening came to an end quickly.  Two families stayed up on the mountain as the rest of the group headed down towards their appropriate homes.  When the group was about ready to jump onto the freeways, the group stopped for a wakeup call.  We then called it a good night and headed to our appropriate ghostly homes…….
